Invitation letters for the 2011 470 Junior World Championships and 2011 470 European Championships were previously sent in February 2011, but apologies as it seems that these may not have been received by all National Class Associations.

Online entry is open for all the 2011 470 Championships and we would urge you to make your entry as soon as possible. Early entry also assists in the Organizing Committee's planning and preparation for the Championships.

2011 Open 470 European Championships
The Organizing Committee has arranged preferential rates with their hotel partner, Scandic Hotels, for hotels located close to the Championship venue. To benefit from the preferential rates, accommodation should be booked by 22 April 2011. 2011 470 Junior World Championships
Please be aware that accommodation in Medemblik during the Summer high season gets very busy and you should book your accommodation as soon as possible. A range of accommodation options are available via the Tourist Office website: www.vvvmedemblik.nl

Please also be aware that the International Sailing Centre in Medemblik offers a service in cooperation with a local partner to sailors participating in the Delta Lloyd Regatta and/or Kiel Week to store boats and equipment in a secure area at a reasonable price. Perth 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships
ISAF is processing all entries for the World Championships and all enquires should be directed to ISAF.

The 470 Class is supporting participation at the Worlds through our Olympic Solidarity Programme and in partnership with MacKay Boats of New Zealand we are providing eight charter boats at a significantly subsidised cost of EUR300 per team. Available for training prior to the World Championships getting underway, the schedule of racing in Perth will then enable the boats to first be used by eight men's 470 teams before being used by the women. Teams interested in a charter boat must apply to the 470 Class using the application form which must be submitted by 30 June 2011. More information at: www.470.org/content.asp?id=666
